Years ago, DECORFIN founder, Eric Klein’s vision to create America’s foremost Venetian plaster company took him to Europe – the birthplace of the material – where he discovered that the impact of colors and textures can have on making a space unique. There he learned much about Venetian plaster work from master artisans who accompanied him back to NYC and still work with him to this day. Eric’s creative spark and passion for the beautiful art form of Venetian plaster installation led him to create the company.
DECORFIN is a true family affair, with Eric’s passion for Venetian plaster being passed down to his son, Ilan. Together they run the leading business specializing in creating real works of art in restaurants, residences, luxury apartments and retail stores from coast to coast.
